Serve

We believe that God has equipped and called every member to serve the church in some way, whether formally or informally.

 

Here are some of the current formal opportunities to serve:

Greeting Team

Volunteers for this team greet people and hand out bulletins as people come into church each Sunday. Plan to arrive at around 10:30am and greet for around half-an-hour.​

​

Setup Team

​Volunteers for this team spend less than half-an-hour after church each Sunday moving chairs and setting up tables to accommodate our Wednesday Kids & Youth program.

Kids & Youth

• Wednesday Nights

• Sunday Children's Church

• Parents' Night Out

​

*Volunteers for kids or youth programs​

• must be a church member in good standing.

• must take part in a Kids Volunteer training annually.

• must regularly pass a criminal background check (no violent or sexual crimes).

​

Worship Team

Music is an important part of what we do every Sunday morning. We are always looking for talented musicians and singers to enhance our musical worship.

​

Prospective Worship Team members

• must be a church member in good standing for at least three months.

• must pass a tryout with the existing worship team.

• must sign and abide by the LHC Leadership Agreement.
